Richard Boch is an artist, writer and lifelong New Yorker. He was born in Brooklyn, grew up on Long Island and studied printmaking and painting at The University of Connecticut and Parsons School of Design/The New School. He lives in upstate Columbia County, NY and New York City. His work has recently been shown at Wendy McDaris Fine Art and CR-10. His Page Paintings were included in the show, No Wave Heroes. Richard is currently finishing a memoir and history of the times, 1979 and 1980. The book is about life in New York City, centered on the nearly two years he spent working the door of the Mudd Club.
